1. ¿How does your FERUFLEX® flexible dental splint work?

Ans.  FERUFLEX® flexible dental splint intercepts contact between upper and lower dental arcades with a flexible resilient material. It buffers biting forces on gums during night grinding preventing excess pressure on TMJ (temporo-mandibular-joint) which is associated to tinnitus, vertigo, mandibular pain and trigeminal neuralgia. On the other hand, lower jaw teeth may move grind or clench freely without harm or wear of dental surfaces. FERUFLEX® absorbs grinding forces during bruxism. FERUFLEX® flexible dental splint relieves tension in the mandible muscles by preventing excess pressure during sleep.

2.¿How do I start using my FERUFLEX®flexible dental splint?

Ans. You can easily set it up from the first instance. After following instructions on the label you just put it in, bite to accommodate it and that´s it. Label will instruct you on easy adjustment to your jaw size. Once ready to go to sleep you bit it in and good night sleep.

3.¿What material is FERUFLEX® flexible dental splint made of?

Ans. FERUFLEX® flexible dental splint is manufactured with selected resilient material complying with ISO standards in safety and health. EEC approved on toxicity standards Feruflex has not resulted in any side effects in the last ten years.

4. Can FERUFLEX® flexible dental splint be expelled during sleep?

Ans. Not necessarily, FERUFLEX® will remain in the mouth all night thanks to its V conformation which adjusts to three settlement areas inside the buccal space.

5.¿Should I use FERUFLEX®flexible dental splint during the day?

Ans. If you sleep during the day, yes, because grinding always appears during sleep.

6.¿Can FERUFLEX® flexible dental splint help me with my stress and sleep better?

Ans. Yes, one advantage of Feruflex is that it allows relief of tension in jaw muscles by biting on a soft surface that recovers original shape. You can bite or grind all night without teeth wearing out and no gums inflammation. It will let you have alleviation of your stress and a repairing night sleep.

7.¿What if I do not find any results with my FERUFLEX® flexible dental splint?

Ans. If you are abroad from Spain, you are granted with a return guarantee period of 30 days so you can test the product. If you are not happy with your FERUFLEX® during this period, you will be fully reimbursed upon reception of your splint in our offices.

8.¿Can I use my FERUFLEX® with orthodontic devices (braces or brackets)?

Ans. Yes, we have had no complaints on use of FERUFLEX® flexible dental splint along with orthodontic devices, although it is advisable to consult your orthodontist anyhow, since Feruflex is a new device in the dental market.

9.My dentist tells me I may need a hard splint made from a dental impression. Why does your flexible dental splint not need any impression of my teeth?

Ans. FERUFLEX® flexible dental splint is designed to fit any size of mandible. It can easily be adjusted by cutting the ends of the wings to fit your teeth upper arcade. Once you bite it will stay in place. FERUFLEX® applies a new concept in dental biomechanics as compared to a fixed conventional dental splint. Feruflex allows free movement during sleep in order to discharge tensions, while a conventional splint stays fixed with some times harmful consequences to the gums. The protecting effect of  FERUFLEX® flexible dental splint becomes evident immediately.

Ans. FERUFLEX® flexible dental splint is manufactured free fron toxic substances and complies with the EEC and ISO safety standards.
